Advanced Material Handling Ltd Hiring for Production Coordinator at Abbotsford, BC Full Time

Role and Responsibilities:
Effectively and efficiently manage the production of the required daily/weekly/monthly targets – in line with customer specifications and meet all customer time-critical deadlines.

Work with team leaders in Fabrication, Machine, CNC Plasma shop, and Warehouse to ensure production goals are achieved.

Update production plan/schedule daily and advise on production delays. Find the best possible solution to minimize delays.

Review shop capacity, work cell loads and adjust bottlenecks as required to meet production goals and costs.

Supervise, review and revise crew scheduling as required.

Review work orders to ensure accuracy before adding to the production schedule.

Provide weekly updated production reports.

Develop cost-effective measurements to achieve exceptional business practices.

Attend monthly safety meetings.

Review and monitor work orders and shop cards for 100 percent accuracy.

Maintain shop labor and consumable costs.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

High regard for quality assurance.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Skills:
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Good mechanical aptitude.

Requires knowledge of all welding methods and procedures.

Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
