Position

As our operation grows, we seek a Project Engineer to support all aspects of the business. The emphasis of this role will be project scheduling/tracking, materials coordination, technical writing, project bidding, and client relations.

Job Duties:

• Schedule and coordinate activities relating to projects and track project budgets
• Assist with the management of multiple projects at the same time
• Monitor/track progress and quality of testing & commissioning projects
• Learn to interpret plans and specs
• Act as a point of contact on projects with owners/prime contractors
• Assist with bid proposal process
• Work to maintain strong client relationships
• Setup and create new projects
• Create monthly invoices to customers
• Prepare monthly reviews for management
• Plan and schedule delivery of testing equipment for each project as directed by Management
• Coordinate with company leadership to provide guidance to outside engineers and permitting authorities
• Develop working knowledge of substation apparatus and relay testing protocols
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, civil, or construction engineering, or other relevant field is required
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel is required
• Experience within the electrical and/or construction field is a plus
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• Willingness to travel short-term when required
• Must be able to pass a drug test(s)
• Must be willing to commute to office location daily
