Advanced Dermatology of Southeast Missouri Hiring for Lab Technician / Mohs Histotechnician at Cape Girardeau, MO Full Time

• Process tissue specimens using optimal tissue handling techniques.
• Preparation of Mohs frozen sections to include accessioning, labeling, mapping, grossing, processing, embedding, sectioning, staining and cover slipping of Mohs surgical specimens.
• Perform high quality control and preventative maintenance according to established policy.
• Compliance with all QA policies and OSHA regulations.
• Maintaining laboratory instruments, equipment and supplies as needed.
• Work independently and as a team to meet established deadlines.
• Other lab duties as assigned.
• Certification of a histology program, practical nursing program or an accredited medical assistant program is strongly preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
