Advanced Bioscience Laboratories Hiring for Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist Job at Rockville, MD Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of strategies, methods, and initiatives necessary to recruit, select, hire and retain applicants to fill open positions.
• Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts –to include, creating job requisition, sourcing, screening resumes / candidates, interviews, hiring.
• Meet with hiring managers to review and understand job requirements, develop candidate profiles, and craft job announcements.
• Manage the scheduling and logistics of all interviews between candidates and members of the hiring team.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience from the initial application to the final on-boarding process.
• Continuously research, recommend and develop a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future roles.
• Consistently evaluate and apply new sourcing techniques to actively identify, cultivate, and grow target candidate pools, recruiting processes.
• Serve as a Brand Ambassador to help expand our internal and external footprint.
• Partner and network with industry contacts, local government, association memberships, trade groups, social media, and employee referral.
• Develop a robust community of talent and candidate pipelines across a diverse set of functional areas and generate results in a fast-paced environment.
• Develop and track goals and metrics for the recruiting and hiring process.
• Source passive and active candidates through social platforms, online databases, referrals, events, and relevant networks to build a consistent pipeline of candidates.
• Own the Summer Internship Program and maintains relationships with colleges and universities.
• Effectively articulate a compelling value proposition and business strategy to prospects and candidates.
• Proactively provide progress to internal stakeholders.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Proven 5+ years’ work experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role.
• Previous experience developing and executing recruiting marketing and branding strategies.
• HR Generalist experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Teams), popular social media platforms, resume databases, and professional networks.
• Superior customer-service skills with internal/external stakeholders.
• High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Quick learner, multitasker and remains calm under pressure.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP.
• Firm understanding and implementation of recruiting metrics to drive decision-making is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and human resource information systems (HRIS), Deltek Talent Management.
• Experience in biotech, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing.
