Senior Design Engineer

Advance Talent Ltd are proud to be partnering with our client, a leader within the construction industry to recruit for a Senior Design Engineer.  This role is offered on a permanent basis with excellent benefits and competitive salary.
  
The main responsibilities for the Senior Design Engineer are as follows:

• Preparation of FEED designs adhering to current legislation
• Preparation of detailed designs in conformance with codes and standards including design risk assessments, calculations, and sketches to produce working drawings
• Project manage including design programmes and commercial control
• Aim to reduce carbon via efficient design
• Attend internal and external meetings
• Attend site when required
• Identify and evaluate chargeable work including preparation of records of time spent
• Gather and collate feedback on designs from lessons learned meetings
• Check off design work both internal and external
• Agree and manage budgets with design managers and project teams

  
To be successful for the Senior Design Engineer you must:

• Be a chartered engineer or working towards accreditation
• Have a degree in Civil Engineering
• Preferably have experience in the energy or water sector
• Be confident communicating and interacting with clients
• Have experience coordinating and executing solutions
