Well-established and growing commercial property management company in Everett needs an experienced and highly capable Accounting Manager to lead our accounting team!

Compensation: $35 per hour to start raise to $36 after 180 days + annual raises

Schedule: Monday – Friday (some flexibility)

Job Duties:

• Lead Bookkeeping team with detail-oriented oversight – multi-company
• Bank, credit card and account reimbursement reconciliations
• Ensure all income and balance sheet accounting functions are accurately and timely maintained
• Production of monthly financials & owner reports for multiple managed commercial properties, payment of sales and

property taxes, mortgage reporting, special projects

• Monitor and provide feedback on all established accounting processes and functions
• Back-up for payroll, inputting daily receipts, payables, and bank deposits.

Qualifications:

• Multi-company accounting – Preferred
• QuickBooks – 5+ years
• Detailed-oriented, efficient and organized
• Open to change and process improvements
• Friendly, positive, can-do attitude
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Manage projects and follow through to completion
• Prior management of staff
• Some higher education / good job references

• Ability to shift projects and priorities easily
• Exceptional follow-through with staff duties
• Takes direction well – pleasant disposition
• Work well with others with pleasant disposition
• Commercial property management a plus

Essential Job Functions:

• Ability to work indoors all day long
• Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English
• Knowledge and capability of intermediate math
• Ability to walk up and down stairs, up to several times a day
• Ability to sit at desk for up to an entire 8-hour day
• Fine motor-functions – use of keyboard and mouse for up to an entire 8-hour day
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
