Responsible for the receipt and processing of all HR transactional activities in relation to the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding new starters, payroll variations and amendments, pension, benefits, and training administration. Responsible for the management and maintenance of cascade and the production of HR management information; Supervise and oversee the transactional HR processing and manage HR officers to meet all transactional related HR activity and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities/Results Areas
Responsible for collation and processing and checking of all payroll variations, amendments, new starters and leavers and any other payroll related administration to ensure timely and accurate salary payment in adherence to payroll deadlines
Production of monthly payroll reports to enable payroll checking prior to final sign off. Production of monthly finance reports
Check all payroll submissions prior to integration with actions to payroll bureau making sure any queries and anomalies are checked prior to monthly payroll authorisation.
Process all customer payroll queries within agreed timescales and action any changes corrections as soon as possible
Management of recruitment processes through Cascade to ensure adverts are placed on job boards and managers supported through Cascade recruitment, providing training when required to ensure adverts are placed without delay and in accordance with service level agreement (SLA’s)
Production of monthly HR metric management information including turnover, sickness absence, performance management, training and recruitment and other ad hoc reports required for submission to Head of HR.
Processing of all onboarding information including recruitment background checks and contracts of employment in accordance with legal frameworks and SLA’s
Supervision, delegation and checking output, outcomes and performance management of HR Officers, ensuring work is completed to a high standard, within deadlines and within agreed SLA’s
Providing training, development, and support to managers and HR colleagues in relation to the scope of work
Maintaining and updating of Cascade Training Manager. Processing training and development records within Cascade ensuring that all learning and training events attended are recorded accurately.
Purchasing of e-learning modules and assigning relevant training to new starters
Purchasing and maintaining job board credits for the allocation of job adverts
Providing support and input to HR projects where required
Processing of HR administration and project work commensurate with the scope breadth and responsibilities of the role
Maintaining data, processes and workflow in areas of cascade responsibility making sure data is accurate and up to date.
Undertaking training and development commensurate and required for the role and team
