Role Overview

As a Trainee Management Accountant, you will be responsible for the completion of financial reporting for property services, joint venture partnerships (Pyramid Plus LLPs) and all other financial information and reporting associated with the property services business area.

More about the role

Some responsibilities will include:

• To assist with the delivery of Pyramid Plus London LLP (PPL) and Pyramid Plus South LLP (PPS) monthly management accounts and cashflow, statutory reporting and financial and budgetary control in accordance with the Finance Team’s timetable, ensuring that all financial activities are conducted in accordance with policies, procedures and regulations.
• To assist with the preparation of the PPL, PPS and property services annual budgets and forecasts, by effective monitoring, ensure they are delivered on time and to provide information as required to the Senior Accountant to review.
• To assist with the Group functional reporting of property services, producing monthly management accounts, forecasts and budgets and all benchmarking information for the Group.
• To assist in preparation of the annual statutory accounts with the appropriate audit schedules and backing information for Pyramid Plus London LLP (PPL) and Pyramid Plus South LLP (PPS) within the agreed timetable and liaising with the auditors as necessary.
• To assist with the production of KPI monthly reports.

More about you

• Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English (Grades A*- C)
• Actively studying towards accounting professional qualification
• Current experience of budgeting, forecasting and management accounts
• Previous experience building relationships with internal and external customers
• Ability to problem solve using analytical skills and tools like Microsoft office to aid decision making
