About the Job & You:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Support Team within our Extra Care Schemes to provide a comprehensive catering service, leading the service at weekends within budget to ensure the delivery of high quality meals to clients living in sheltered accommodation and/or the wider community.

You will contribute to the delivery of high quality Catering to our residents.

You will contribute to the delivery of high quality Catering to our residents, you will,

• Food service operative preparing packed teas and service meals to residents meeting Company and Environmental Health Standards. Taking Responsibility for Particular dietary and cultural needs, cooking specific meals as per the Resident food profile so that Resident’s preferences are met
• Complete all menu tick sheets, cleaning records and handover sheets daily, Recording meals sold and reporting resident feedback to manager.
• Carry out Health & Safety & Food Hygiene standards checks as directed by A2Dominion Catering Standards and that all practices meet the statutory regulations, including the Registered Homes Act 1984, and A2Dominions Health & Safety policy.
• Supporting Manager in preparing and responding to inspections and audits by external authorities and other bodies and fulfilling reporting requirements.
• Take Responsibility for restaurant front of house service delivery and Maintain the standards set by the Catering Manager

Qualifications& Experience:
– Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Math & English (Grades A* – C)

• Cooking experience desirable, preferably in a Care and Support environment
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to engage with elderly vulnerable customers and their families
