ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs both detail and high-level reviews over financial data. Analyzes financial information to identify issues and recommend changes.

Compiles and prepares entries to general ledger accounts.

Performs monthly and annual financial closing schedules and prepares branch financials for management review. Assists with corporate level financials as needed by Controller and CFO.

Maintains and reviews internal control procedures and recommends changes when necessary.

Serves as a resource to branch managers at manufacturing or distribution center. Also serves as a resource to upper-level management.

Assists with external auditors during annual audit.

Help prepare income tax schedules.

Helps maintain costing for distribution centers in Route accounting software.

REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY:

Live in the Wyoming Big Horn Basin or Casper area with the ability to be in the Worland Office at least 1 week out of each month.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Experience: 3 or more years in public or private accounting.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with excel and word. Knowledge of GAAP and its application. Experience in corporate income taxes a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
