ing to the Executive Assistant of the Chief Medical Officer, the Administrative Assistant to the Chief Medical Officer provides confidential administrative support and ensures that efficient administrative processes are in place to support the operation of the Chief Medical Officer portfolio. The successful candidate has a high degree of initiative and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Once established, the Saskatchewan Health Authority will be the largest public sector organization in Saskatchewan with an operating budget of over $3.8 billion, employing approximately 43,000 employees and responsible to deliver health care to the province.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of Grade XII supplemented by a recognized business course
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license

Experience
3 – 5 years of experience working in a senior administrative assistant role

• Expert written and verbal communication skills including excellent proficiency in editing material for clarity, accuracy and conciseness
• Knowledge and experience in minute taking and synthesizing information
• Possesses a high degree of initiative, ingenuity, including the ability to work with little, and/or no, supervision
• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality including handling confidential information with discretion
