Manage the order fulfilment process for the adidas Group’s Distribution Centers. Drive continuous process improvements for order fulfilment topics and ensure on-time availability by effectively coordinating and aligning supply and demand within the supply chain.

Provide a world-class level of service related to purchase order placement, tracking, availability, and visibility.

Key Responsibilities

Order Fulfillment

• Responsible for availability and fulfilment in day-to-day business for the Market.
• Ensure matching and enduring OTIF execution of customer deliveries against commercial requirements and prioritization for deliveries.
• ing on OTIF results, reasons for performance and improvement actions.
• Participate in meetings to identify critical supply chain constraints and determine actions to overcome problems with respect to the supply of critical products.
• Execute day-to-day operation of inbounding planning and inbound prioritisation by deciding on shipment mode via close collaboration with the Market by considering on-time deliveries vs. costs.
• Create inbound and outbound forecast and warehouse capacity forecast, leading meetings with the Market and the warehouse management team to determine and optimize staffing requirements of the warehouse according to sales order backlog so that Market meets month-end targets. Create and distribute daily s to track volumes for the month against forecast.
• Build the network related to the key interface, local Customer Service organisations in Market, the warehouse and the purchasing team and streamlining of communication process with the different stakeholders including transit losses & carrier claims.
• Monitor order cancellation and shortages, and work with the DC to understand the root cause and align on actions plans to address.
• Upon request, participate in area or Market projects and lead projects to increase OTIF and inventory efficiency across adidas Group
• Review supplier invoices and ensure validity of charges, question any abnormal items, submit to ensure that all payments are made properly and timely.
• Analysis of downstream operations
• Implement best practices in logistics, warehouse, and distribution processes.
• Responsible for optimized processes and planning procedures, warehouse capacity planning

Purchase order management

• Submit Purchase Orders: Ensure timely submission of purchase orders in accordance with international logistics timelines to facilitate accurate and on-time deliveries aligned with the company’s business plan.
• Excess Review: Collaborate with the demand planner to generate s and execute purchase order reduction and cancellations as needed.
• Direct Shipment Coordination: Facilitate and enhance direct shipment opportunities while coordinating SHAS/VAS requirements.
• Delivery Date Consistency: Regularly verify and align delivery dates between the confirmation system and purchase orders.
• Product Tracking: Monitor all products and notify relevant parties of any articles/sizes that were not purchased, linking to drop s or oversell data.
• Launch Communication: Communicate with channels, when necessary, especially if launch dates need adjustment due to late confirmations.
• Late Order Identification: Identify late orders and provide timely business updates.
• Priority Shipment: Keep track of products at risk for late delivery, especially high-value (HL) products, and request priority shipments when necessary.
• Order Monitoring: Continuously monitor unconfirmed, changed, and late outstanding orders against SAP.
• Airfreight Handling: Fill in the air justification form and obtain approval from the internal and APAC management team. Follow the recharge process with Finance, where we paid on behalf of the global team.
• Shipping Instruction updates: Ensure the system accurately reflects shipping instructions and delivery dates.
• OM Ticketing Inquiries (comm b/w factory & market): Respond to GTS/WFM ticketing inquiries promptly, within a 24-hour timeframe.
• Seasonal master data Management: Create and maintain a planning master file to ensure the accuracy of a purchase order data information is captured in the purchase master, and daily update is required.

Requisite Education And Experience / Minimum Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent education required.
• 2-5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in SCM/Finance
