Adidas Hiring for Senior Specialist, Key Accounts Planning Job at Sydney Full Time

Purpose / function:

The purpose of the role is to support the Global Key Accounts Team (Foot Locker & JD Sports) Key across all required and defined analyst and planner functions. To ensure a focus on in season data management, review and forecasting & future season planning and review with the objective of supporting sell out knowledge, growth and identifying efficiencies within the Global Key Account Channel and team.

There is a large focus on orderbook management and working closely with both Accounts, buying & Planning teams to achieve the best mutually beneficial outcomes.

Key Tasks / Functions:

Reporting & Analysis

• Manage all Key account reporting functions in conjunction with the Director of Key accounts and Senior Key Account manager.
• RFC – Monthly: Define channel template by team member, feeding into the business document. Document prior season Indent refill and Pull Forward %’s by month to ascertain future season %’s accurately.
• Maintain RFC along with the team with commentary and aligning with the Channel Leads for submission to the business.
• Weekly sell though data compilation and distribution – Consistent format for all accounts, aligned SKAM input, defined business distribution.
• QBR – Quarterly – Dashboard data supply to DKA for SRG and FL QBR’s.
• Provide all Global data submission requirements via APAC Wholesale and/or Global Sales leads

Planning and Forecasting

• Seasonal Forecast Projections – Quarterly – close work with the SKAM team to identify needs and data required to accurately project season programmes.
• Strategic Business plan support – Half yearly ‘rolling’ actual and forecast updates aligned to the three year bottom up
• Trend forecasting – Use in season sell out data to define in season and future season growth and trend uplifts, establish new franchises and areas of opportunity or decline in categories
• Order analysis, review and recommendation
• Sell in support – Seasonal
• Contract review and summary

Orderbook Management:

• Lead the Orderbook management process for the the channel focusing on conversion.
• Weekly Planner meetings to define conversion plans for current and future months.
• Provide the Key Account Sales team with weekly master orderbook data and consolidate KAM feedback for review with the team on a weekly basis
• Work closely with the operations and logistics plan for the month and quarter.

Process Management / Projects

• Define short, mid and long term process refinement and improvement work streams in line with Account contracts, service level agreements or business efficiencies
• Lead and manage the relevant cross functional teams to successfully complete refinements and work streams in line with a defined plan with the Channel Leads and SD
• Be a lead in the ‘Red book process’ of documentation for Foot Locker and JD
• Projects – as defined and approved by the Channel Leads and/or Sales Director

Key Relationships:

• Internal: Key Accounts, Logistics, Sales Coordination, Finance, Brand, Marketing Teams
• External: Wholesale customers Buying, Merchandise and Planning Teams

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• Demand Planning
• Financial forecasting
• Commercial partnership
• Advanced Excel skills required. Experience with SPS Commerce or similar analytics platforms such as SAP Business Objects BI or Microstrategy desired.
• Industry specific experience preferred

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance or Accounting or similar field
