The Senior Specialist, Digital Performance Marketing, in our Melbourne-based marketing team, drives brand consideration and business growth through paid channels for the adidas Australia and New Zealand online stores.

You will lead mid and lower funnel marketing campaigns and projects across multiple paid channels (Google Search/Shopping, Meta, TikTok, Display and Affiliates). You will own the strategy, planning, budget, and manage the brief to local media agencies for execution. You’re not working in-platform but you should have a strong technical background, have the experience in-platform and the ability to critique media plans to drive successful marketing campaigns

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and own the performance marketing strategy for adidas Pacific
• Lead paid campaigns to drive high quality traffic to adidas.com and accelerate revenue growth e.g. new product launches, promotional campaigns, retargeting/conversion campaigns
• Management of local media agencies – work closely with local media agencies to manage day-to-day paid channel operations (including Google Search/Shopping, Meta, TikTok, Display and Affiliates)
• Accountable for the phasing and deployment of a multi-million-dollar budget to deliver strong ROI
• Drive testing, ing, optimisation & analysis on paid channels, identify key levers and opportunities for improvement
• Lean on analytics teams to monitor and review marketing spend effectiveness using their established dashboards and frameworks (ROAS, CPV etc.) and quantify uplift/commercial impact based on enhancements
• Work closely with internal teams regionally and locally to align traffic acquisition targets and strategies to support business goals
• Align paid efforts with merchandising/buyers to ensure we’re prioritising inventory that needs marketing support
• Monitor external marketing and media trends, best practices, technologies and techniques so that we’re able to adapt and quickly implement new features where possible
• Create campaign and performance s for paid activations and projects
• Support key stakeholders by offering digital and media expertise in internal and external environments

• Deliver against traffic targets (high quality visits to adidas.com)
• Efficient marketing budget spend through maximising ROAS
• Successful implementation of paid campaigns i.e. on-time-in-full execution (OTIF)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Experience in planning and managing large budgets allocated across multiple paid platforms
• Proven performance media skills, optimisation and bid management techniques with experience achieving high volume growth targets
• Experience with two or more performance platforms – SearchAds360, DataFeedWatch, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, Google Display Network & Video 360, and Impact or similar affiliate & partner marketing platform
• Experience with web analytics platforms preferred e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics
• An interest in technology (feeds, scripts and the like) to automate and scale processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive and opportunistic – ability to identify opportunity and fast to action them
• Strong time management, organisational and prioritisation skills

Requisite Education & Experience / Minimum Qualifications

• 3-5 years industry experience in digital marketing and performance media
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
• Advanced computer and Outlook skills
