Adepto Technical Recruitment Ltd Looking for Senior CAD / Revit Technician at Greater Manchester Full Time

They specialise in the execution of technically challenging, time-sensitive projects in critical environments: cleanrooms, laboratories, industrial plants, and data centres. 

With over 50 years of experience, they offer their clients seamless consulting and engineering solutions through an in-house design, build, operate and maintain delivery model. They are currently seeking a Senior CAD/Revit Technician to be based out of their South Manchester office.

The Senior CAD/Revit Technician will work on projects within the fields of Data Centres, Pharmaceutical / Clean Room Environments, Process Engineering & Industrial Works. The successful Senior CAD/Revit Technician will produce and maintain building information models/drawings to assist in the overall design and construction process. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparing and issuing all relevant drawings and modeling documentation for projects based on specifications and calculations.
• Exercise the skill, care, and judgment to be expected of an experienced engineering technician to ensure the drawings you are responsible for are complete, correctly detailed, and free from error.
• Create, adapt, and amend existing CAD/Revit designs that need editing.
• Work closely with the rest of the team on projects and take responsibility for checking your own work and work produced by others.
• Work to company standards and adhere to processes and procedures.
• Visit sites as required in order to gain practical experience in installation practices and apply these to improve design effectiveness.
• Ensure work is completed accurately and to a high standard.
• Ensure Health & Safety is considered throughout all duties.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages.
• Proven experience with AutoCAD/Revit.
• The ability to solve technically challenging problems.
• The ability to communicate and hold technical conversations, internally and externally.
• Be a self-starter and be able to work with minimum supervision.
• Take responsibility for ensuring that deliverables are met.
• A degree or HND / HNC in a Construction or Engineering discipline (Desirable)
