Adelphoi Education is looking for a Principal to join our team in Indiana!

About Us

Adelphoi Education in Indiana is a Private Academic School serving grades 6-12 with a total of 60 students. The programs offered here consist of Behavior Support, Day Treatment, and Credit Recovery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide educational leadership for students and staff
• Foster positive building climate based on assessing and meeting student needs
• Evaluate the instructional program and the performance of professional staff
• Assist teachers in their contact with parents
• Meet with parents and community groups
• Attend school events and activities
• Problem solve crisis situations
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Pennsylvania Certification as Secondary School Principal or Principal K-12
• Master’s degree in education or related fields
• Graduate study/professional experience directed toward the development and maintenance of an understanding of research and current curriculum trends and procedures of staff supervision
• Knowledge of curriculum, assessment, standards, supervision, and evaluation
• Knowledge of research-based strategies to improve student achievement
• Master schedule experience preferred
• Administrative experience preferred
