Key duties include:
Recruitment – Support the recruitment processes including placing agreed adverts on job sites, responding to adverts, chasing applications, providing further information about posts, arranging interviews – schedules & letters.
Pre-employment admin and checks – Send reference requests, conditional offer letters, medical and personal details etc. Issue firm offer letters and contracts of employment as directed by the HR Manager.
New Starters – Ensure all documentation received and signed on first day of work, creating new staff files and filing paperwork as appropriate.
Probation -Track probation end dates and inform line managers of probation review due dates, provide admin support and issue letters as appropriate.
Staff Absence – Keep accurate records of all staff absences, sickness, unpaid, emergency, compassionate, maternity etc including chasing up relevant paperwork and filing as appropriate.
Regularly review absence trigger points and flag to HR manager. Provide admin support as required.
Work Station Assessments – Issue annual self-assessment forms and forward information on any issues that arise to HR Manager.
Driving Details – Carry out regular checks of all staff driving details and documentation to ensure compliant with policies.
Experience required
The ideal candidate will have worked within HR & carried out recruitment, however my client is open to looking at a strong administrator who has excellent organisational skills, attention to detail & effective communication skills.
