Our client have been successful in attaining a number of significant rail projects that sit across Melbourne and Sydney. All of these projects are about to ramp up and so they are requiring a Talent Acquisition Team Leader.

The Talent Acquisition Team Leader will be responsible for identifying, sourcing & select trade talent for the ANZ cluster.

A full comprehension of current and future business needs with regards to Talent acquisition, Talent Mapping with the ability to influence, engage and advise our Hiring Managers & HRBP’s on candidate profiles in different geographical locations, provide feedback regarding market conditions and overall recruitment process.

Description

• The Talent Acquisition Team Leader will support the ANZ organisation with complex staffing projects, using various sourcing channels: ‘ own candidate data base, Alstom Careers, Social media (LinkedIN), head hunting, Hiring Manager networking, external job boards, employee referral schemes
• Manage Recruitment Projects: Identify, assess and submit qualified candidates to Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners, based on provided job description within a technical recruiting environment.
• Acquire a thorough technical understanding of job requisition / description for required competencies, skills, knowledge required of successful applicants
• Identify and implement relevant sourcing strategies based upon the job position by creatively conducting research and/or utilizing a multitude of resources.
• Document research methods so they may be shared with other recruiting team members across our regions.
• Develop an ongoing and diverse talent pipeline using research, networking, database mining, etc. for prospective applicants. Use a variety of technical tools to identify and attract a highly qualified pool of candidates
• ATS (applicant tracking system) maintenance (SAP, Success Factors)
• Enter and maintain candidate information into applicant tracking system on a daily basis
• Generate recruitment metric reports both manually and using applicant tracking system
• Create, file and maintain filing system for resumes (Candidate Database)
• Resume conversion and application maintenance
• Assist the HRBP and Hiring Manager with job requisition / description development, as well as job postings on relevant social media and job boards. Ensure follow up and external job posting maintenance, contributing to the Global Employer Branding strategy
• Provide Hiring Manager and HR Business Partners with weekly updates and summaries of recruiting progress and activity
• Work with Hiring Manager and HRBP to determine best fit candidates for further candidate assessment by local recruiters.
• Prepare quarterly surveys and communicate the analysis with the stakeholders.
• Build talent pipeline through Talent Mapping projects for specific skills

• Able to read, analyse, and interpret general business information such as job descriptions, business articles, industry best-practices etc.
• Excellent coordination and collaboration skills, able to switch from sourcing to preparing contracts, whilst updating candidate details in the system
• Strong communicating skills, including with senior management across different regions.
• Strong ability to listen

Mandatory:

• Solid experience with candidate sourcing & selection, specifically for engineering trade & technical profiles
• Solid understanding of recruiting metrics & SLAs
• Solid experience working with Social Media (LinkedIn: LinkedIn Recruiter) and HRIS.
• Experience of having managed a virtual and geographically dispersed team of Indirect Subordinates and stakeholders
• Multicultural work experience international and matrix organisations

Desirable:

• Experience of working in matrix organisation
