At Adecco, we currently have an excellent opportunity for a Permanent, Industrial Cleaner / Labourer, to join our client in Cardiff.

The Company

Our client is the UK’s largest steel recycling company. Producing products such as steel reinforcing bars, wire rods, and merchant bars. Their steel products are used in a lot of construction and engineering projects. Our client focuses on the production of low-emission circular steel; to try and produce steel in the most sustainable way for our environment. With their continued growth, our client is looking for industrial cleaners for their Cardiff site.

About the role

• This is a permanent position, with an immediate start.
• Offering £23,000 per annum.
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am-4 pm

Candidates will be working within a heavy industry environment, ensuring assigned areas are cleaned to the required standards.

Performing heavy cleaning duties such as washing machinery, equipment, and working areas. Completing all environmental cleaning duties.

Disposing of all waste in the correct manner.

Ensuring all equipment is in good working order, and to any defects.

Being proactive with regards to your safety, and those around you – and to have a proactive approach to all health and safety.

About the candidate

• All applicants must have a Valid Driving License. This is a client requirement, as this position may include using a fork truck on occasion.
• If you are successful in the role, a medical including a drug and alcohol test must be completed.
