The Opportunity

The Project Business Optimization Consultant brings to life the next generation of business systems in project-driven industries.

Adeaca invented an entire new category of business solutions for project-based companies, Project Business Automaton (PBA). PBA revolutionizes the conventional approach to business management for companies in construction, engineering, project/ETO/contract manufacturing, aerospace, defense, and various professional services – what we call Project Business.

The Project Business Optimization Consultant plays a crucial role implementing PBA for our customers and transforming how they operate. You will work with new technology to solve our customers’ most challenging project business problems.

Responsibilities

As the project business subject matter expert, you are responsible for shepherding customers through the process of implementing Adeaca PBA and optimizing their processes along the way. Your role is critical to our customers’ success in realizing the transformational benefits of PBA.

You will provide practical industry expertise around project cost control and the PBA solution, delivering world-class service to the client to ensure the solution meets their needs. Through your leadership, the customers will experience an order of magnitude improvement across many areas of their business.

Your Experience

You understand the plight of project-based companies, struggling to bring together processes and data from different departments and systems just to try and understand what is going on. You are steeped in project business processes and likely have worked extensively at a project business as a project controller, project cost manager, project estimator, project accountant, PMO director, or similar role.

You know projects inside and out. As such, intimate knowledge of the following areas is required:

• Cost Breakdown Structure

• Estimation

• Budget management

• Change management

• Cash-flow management

• Estimate at Complete (EAC)

• Earned Value Management

• Revenue recognition

• Subcontract management

• Project supply chain

Complementary to this expertise, experience in selecting, implementing, and using project financial applications and systems is beneficial, including ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, Deltek, IFS, SAP, Oracle), project applications (Oracle Primavera, Microsoft Project), estimation tools, PSA, etc. You may have gained this experience as a subject matter expert at a project business, or as a consultant serving those industries.

Pay: $120,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
