ADEACA CORP Hiring for Director of Talent Acquisition and Human Resources at Remote Full Time

Adeaca delivers Project Business Automation to our customers when projects matter most. We are growing and need an experienced person to develop our recruiting program and human resources (HR) function. The Director of Talent Acquisition and Human Resources will be a critical leader that will drive key strategies to help attract, engage, and retain passionate talent across the organization.

You will be responsible for crafting, managing, and implementing and executing all components of our recruiting strategy. You will work closely with senior leaders in the business to understand their needs and develop a plan to find and hire the right talent. You will develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of candidates for critical positions.

You will also plan and implement HR programs and policies that can attract and retain high-level talent. These will include benefits packages, vacation policies, compensation packages, training and development, and more.

You will be a part of the company’s central management team and eventually likely will lead a team of HR professionals as well.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement creative strategies for proactive recruiting and building a pipeline of qualified candidates for many different positions.
• Develop a comprehensive, targeted, and streamlined recruitment and employer brand strategy.
• Responsible for the initial selection, development and management of staff including their growth and development.
• Be a strategic advisor to business leaders, especially around our most challenging requirements and objectives regarding staffing.
• Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
• Conduct or acquire background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
• Research, develop, and implement comprehensive HR programs and policies, including benefits packages, vacation policies, compensation packages, the employee handbook, and more.
• Perform tasks required to administer and execute these human resource programs including but not limited to new hire orientation, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; and training and development.
• Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
• Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
• Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Required Skills, Abilities and Education

• 10+ years of progressive recruiting/talent acquisition experience with an emphasis on technology, preferably in a start-up/small company environment. Experience implementing HR programs and policies as a significant part of that history.
• Ability to connect with people, gain trust, and promote Adeaca to qualified candidates.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
• SHRM-CP a plus.

Pay: $85,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
