Addison Group Hiring for Accounting Manager Job at Brighton, MA Full Time

• Assist with preparing 1099 and A-133
• Oversee the day-to-day accounting functions including AR, AP, and General Ledger as needed to facilitate timely transaction processing and reporting of financial results.
• Responsible a key control over the financial statement accuracy by performing month end review and documentation of variance analysis for P&L and balance sheet analysis.
• Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers in Oracle.
• Responsible for quarterly journal entry preparation of results into the Chart of Accounts. Also responsible for answering balance sheet flux questions.
• Provide support to the Accounting Manager with the review of any inter-company clearing issues.
• Act as a liaison between enterprise IT department and AR, AP or General Ledger functions in finance for issues requiring solutions in the various financial systems such as Oracle and Concur.
• Review and release accounts payable payment batches in Oracle as needed.
• Support interim and year end audit. Interim and year end audit preparation will include preparing several workpapers including revenue audit templates.
• Other duties would include reviewing audit workpapers before they are provided to external auditors.
