About you
Ideally, with some HR administration or recruitment experience under your belt you are looking for a more fast-paced opportunity where you can develop your HR toolkit.

This role is internal customer focused, so you must be a strong communicator that can engage with stakeholders across different levels on a day to day basis.

The Role
As a key member of the HR team, we are looking for an energetic HR Coordinator to support our busy HR team across a Generalist HR portfolio including recruitment, payroll and HR Admin. There are also many projects in our scope for 2021 which you will take part in.

We are a small HR team who punch above their average so we are looking for someone who is comfortable working across a range of tasks with the ability to multi skill and provide support across the HR team. We also value developing the next generation of HR talent and we will pepper you with real life opportunities to practice your HR skills with the support of our HR business partners. We work in a Hybrid environment, 2/3 days in the office in Springvale when we collaborate and interact with our business and from home for those times you need to knuckle down and get things done.

Key Responsibilities

• End to end recruitment of blue collar and admin roles
• Answer general employee HR related queries
• Assist the payroll officer with weekly payroll processing when required
• HR Projects
• General HR Administration

Skills and Attributes

• Previous Recruitment or HR Generalist experience preferred but not essential
• Previous experience in Administration role
• Good attention to detail, communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• An advantage but not essential, ability to interpret Awards, Industrial Agreements, Fair Work Act and state based Long Service Leave legislation
• Tertiary Qualification in Human Resources Management or relevant Business discipline is a bonus
• Above all, a team oriented, customer focused, organised team player!
