Production Plan – Fulfill monthly, quarterly and annual production objectives

Manage Teams – Supply chain specialists, production lead hands, skilled labour and maintenance

Continuous Improvement – Analyze, develop and deliver – hand assembly to automation

Adamson Systems Engineering is a mixed mode manufacturer with a strong focus on integration of product technologies, located in beautiful Port Perry Ontario. The manufacturing group comprises CAD/CAM programmers, machinists, electronics experts, skilled technicians and assemblers across multiple disciplines. Our high-tech manufacturing environment is designed with lean assembly principals throughout, featuring, PCB/SMT placement, laser/CNC machining, powder/wet spray coating, pressing and assembly operations.

Day to day activity:

• ·Production rhythm & flow – improve processes/floor layout efficiency and/or capacity
• Continuous improvement initiatives – manufacturing process updates that focus on productivity, ERP system development, cost improvement, safety, and ergonomics
• Work Centre planning – work with the supply chain team to ensure resources are allocated as required by the production plan
• Training – implement training programs and initiatives
• Recruitment – collaborate with HR to continually develop our work force
• Quality Control – refine procedures and ensure requirements are met
• Timely execution – act quickly to resolve issues and provide feedback to senior management
• Safety – coordinate joint health and safety committee and ensure safety standard are met or exceeded

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing environment
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a leadership role
• Training and certification in Lean manufacturing principles
• Successful completion of a post-secondary diploma/degree in a relevant technical field
• Extensive ERP experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, experience working effectively in team environments.

Preferred:

• P.Eng. in relevant field
• DDMRP knowledge
• Manufacturing infrastructure knowledge and experience
