Adamson Systems Engineering Hiring for Industrial Mechanic at Port Perry, ON Full Time

We are expanding our manufacturing team and we’re looking for skilled people to join us. We’re interested in passionate people that are looking for a challenging and creative environment to contribute to. We have a strong position in the market requiring continued expertise and collaboration in the development of our production capabilities. Reporting to the Senior Maintenance Mechanic; we are seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Junior Industrial Mechanic.

Responsibilities:

• Leveling, aligning and installing machinery
• Preventative maintenance on equipment
• Rigging, pipe fitting, welding and machinery installation
• Assembling fixtures and workstations
• Assisting with regular maintenance on manufacturing equipment including mills, lathes, punch and shear.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Forklift, working at heights and skyjack experience an asset
• Welding skills an asset
