Position – Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location – Greensboro / Charlotte

Summary/Job Objective: The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is instrumental to the
Human Resources team, providing quality recruitment and retention solutions that integrate construction teams and construction practices into a collaborative process that adds engagement and value to our staff. The role primarily consists of
Recruiting Duties but is also responsible for providing HR Support in the following areas talent sourcing and recruiting, new hire onboarding, employee development and career development, company branding, contingent labor management, and workforce optimization.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as a primary recruiter for all Company hiring needs
• Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process
• Partner with the HR Director to understand recruitment needs and hiring dynamics of the Company
• Work collaboratively with hiring managers to understand business objectives and candidate requirements for open positions
• Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
• Handle all job posting and advertisement processes, including sourcing candidates using various sourcing methods to fill open positions in a timely manner
• Screen candidates by conducting interviews by phone, in-person and using web-based interview methods in order to effectively and efficiently qualify each candidate
• Guide and coach hiring managers through the recruitment and interview process
• Participate and execute employment and internship recruiting events, such as job/career fairs, open houses and information sessions
• Extend offers of employment to candidates who have been approved and complete the hire process
• Provide superior customer service to candidates and internal & external customers throughout the recruitment process; ensure all verbal and written communications are accurate, clear, concise and professional
• Identify real and potential recruitment & employment-related concerns and escalate to the HR Director
• Proactively recommend recruitment best practices

• Track and use key metrics to drive continuous improvements regarding candidate sourcing, recruitment decisions and the quality of hires
• Focus on employee engagement, as it pertains to Talent Acquisition and retention, recognizing opportunities for efficiency and sharing with HR

Director

• Serve as a culture ambassador in day to day work, embodying Company Core

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Comprehensive knowledge of recruiting practices, processes and procedures including relevant Federal and State laws pertaining to recruitment and employment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
• Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
• Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
• Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Must be a team player and be able to work with all levels of an organization from start to finish.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
• At least five years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process highly preferred.
• SHRM’s Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus.
