Our client is looking for 2 Commercial Administrators to join them to help deliver against strategic plans.

The company is a national Approved Inspector who support the development of safe and inspirational buildings of the future, in accordance with building safety regulations. Delivering building control solutions on over 30,000 projects a year, their role is a critical one to provide guidance, insight and technical expertise.

The Role

As a direct to the Head of Commercial, these positions play a vital role in supporting various aspects of commercial administration within the broader commercial team.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• handling incoming quote requests from clients
• issuing quotes
• coordinating with surveyors and clients
• managing supplier portal information
• effectively managing all relevant documentation, data, and records.

As an integral member of the commercial team, you will cultivate trusted relationships with clients to enhance service levels. Your duties will also encompass conducting competitor analysis, specifically in relation to pricing, services, and delivery. Additionally, you will serve as the central point of contact for enquiries from both internal stakeholders and clients, ensuring the team is consistently informed about commercial activity, tasks and projects.

Role Requirements

To be shortlisted for this role you will need a solid background in commercial administration or a related field. Proficiency in managing inbound quote requests, issuing quotes, supplier portals and maintaining meticulous records including contract information is essential. You will possess effective communication skills, both in liaising with surveyors and clients and in serving as a trusted point of contact for internal teams. Proven experience in building and nurturing client relationships is crucial as well as a keen eye for detail in managing documentation and data. Familiarity with competitor analysis, particularly in assessing pricing, services, and delivery, is advantageous.
