Business Development Manager

Job Summary:

A4D is seeking a Business Development Manager (“BDM”) to lead the growth of new business for strategic clients. The BDM will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and designing marketing strategies for the clients. The ideal candidate has a general understanding of all aspects of digital marketing and has in-depth and strategic discussions that challenge the client’s point-of-view. Must have the ability to think strategically to find ways to add value for the clients as well. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities:

• Prospecting advertisers for strategic partnership opportunities.
• Successfully conduct sales calls and meetings to understand prospect needs and provide insights on how A4D can provide value.
• Research and create sales proposals and other forms of follow-up to advance the sales cycle and nurture prospects into strategic partners.
• Negotiate contract terms.
• Able to ask tough questions and handle the pressure of a sales environment.
• Some travel and willingness to host video calls.
• s directly to VP of Network Operations.
• Book of advertisers in the performance marketing industry that you can carry over your relationships, a plus.

Requirements:

• At least 3 plus years sales or client services experience within the performance marketing industry.
• Understanding of all digital marketing channels.
• Excellent presentation capabilities and preparation/follow through.
• Ability to manage and prioritize many clients and deadlines concurrently while also managing internal and external expectations for workload.
• Understands and speaks the language and acronyms of digital marketing.
• Proven track record of sourcing, developing, and maintaining business relationships.
• Resourceful, great at solving unstructured problems with little to no supervision in a fast-paced, high stakes environment.
• Team Player: Demonstrates a strong ability to contribute to the business along with business unit team members and managers; establish collaborative relationships with peers.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish, develop, and maintain business relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal skills; a great communicator in every medium.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
