We are seeking a casual HR Assistant to support us in general HR administration tasks, as well as working with us on the delivery of some exciting projects. This would suit someone who is currently studying HR, or someone who is looking for a flexible position to continue their HR or administration career.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This position will have exposure to all aspects of HR in a rapidly growing, national business. Some of the tasks this position will have responsibility for are:

• Assisting the HR team with all aspects of HR, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement and wellbeing.
• LMS administration, including new user set up and existing user support
• Policy compliance administration via HRIS
• Contract administration and follow up
• ATS administration, including communications to candidates and online reference checks
• Administer National Police Checks and records results
• Ensure compliance and onboarding checklists are actioned for all new starters
• Content creation and administration of People & Culture page of staff intranet
• Assist in the development and delivery of employee wellbeing program
• Maintenance of organisational chart
• Creation and maintenance of organisation wide position descriptions

ABOUT YOU

• Prior HR or Administration experience preferred but not essential. We ask that you have an eagerness to learn all things HR.
• Completed or currently studying in HR related field
• High levels of attention to detail
• Respect for confidentiality
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong IT and systems skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities
