Responsibilities:
The following responsibilities may include some or all of the following or any other tasks assigned
directly or indirectly by the Fire Assay Supervisor.

• Sample weighing
• Fluxing samples
• Fusing samples
• Cupellation
• Picking beads and labeling test tubes
• Assist in ensuring turnaround time meets clients and Presidents requirements of 5 days from

receipt by working overtime when required

• Ensure all analysis is produced with high quality
• Use LIMS
• Use support site to weigh samples, change status’ and make lab jobs
• Ensure maintenance is being carried out as required and all logs are being maintained as shown

in QOP Fire Assay

• Maintain departmental housekeeping on a per shift basis
• Comply with ALL safety procedures including MSDS review for all chemicals used
• Safety oriented with all aspects of the job
• Ensure that QOP Fire Assay and the Pb Control Program is followed

Note: This job requires working in a Pb use environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.50-$21.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Night shift

Supplemental pay types:

• Overtime pay
