Job role:
You will be responsible for providing purpose and direction for the talent team and the organisation to attract the best people to work for the Activate Learning group and develop our employer value proposition as integral to our employer brand, forging a steer away from reactive recruitment towards pro-active talent acquisition. You will do this by managing a team of 3 to deliver an outstanding customer experience for our hiring managers, internal employees and external candidates by promoting the right sourcing channels, building our brand externally and embedding our staff journey through our talent acquisition processes.
Through our Applicant Tracking System, you will ensure that we are utilising it to its fullest to ensure an inclusive and fair hiring process. A critical part of this role will be on exploring and supporting innovative sourcing strategies and new ways of uncovering talent to attract a pipeline of suitable candidates for our varied talent challenges including hard to fill roles. All of this will be done within our commitment to ensuring safer recruitment practices.
What do you need to be successful in this role?
You will be a flexible, creative and ideas-led recruiter, who is happy to be involved in the entire recruitment life cycle. You will have experience of developing and executing recruitment strategy to sourcing and hiring decisions and an unwavering desire to support your team’s development and their commitment to hiring managers to attract the best talent for their positions, first time.
Significant experience as an in-house recruiter with a track record in leading a team (no matter what size!) is essential. You will understand the importance of managing expectations, working with the business as a trusted partner and ensuring that complex sourcing requirements for high-volume posts are managed in a candidate led manner.
