Activate Learning is currently looking for subject experts in Business studies to deliver expectational lessons to a group of international students at a range of levels starting at level 3. The provision will gradually expand offering students progression up to level 5 and beyond to Higher Education should they wish.
You will have an overall responsibility for planning and teaching purposeful lessons in line with the curriculum, as well as meeting any additional educational demands that the students may have. In addition to teaching, you will be required to offer pastoral support to all international students facing challenges that may arise due to the transition, culture change and any language barriers and ensure the students have an excellent experience throughout all stages of their learning journey.
What do you need to be successful in this role?
You will have good levels of industry experience or a sound knowledge of business structures and operations. As learners will be new to the UK, you will be understanding and proactive in supporting students as they settle into their environment. You will be able to build professional rapport with young adults, have a caring nature with great levels of empathy and compassion.
