Activ are currently looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join us on a three (3) month contract basis with a possible extension to six (6) months. This role reports directly to the Head of Finance and Reporting, and is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Assistant Accountant working towards, or already obtained their CPA.

The successful candidate will be an agile thinker with an inquiring mind and enjoy multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. A results driven approach will ensure your success and suitability for this position.

Key duties include:

• Working across all facets of the Accounting and Finance division to understand processes and workflows
• Analysing journals, data manipulation, running reports in budgeting systems and variant analysis
• Provide transactional accounting support to the financial and transactional accounting teams

What you’ll need?

• Degree qualification in Accounting (or related discipline)
• CPA or currently working towards completion
• 2+ years accounting / systems implementation experience
• Proven ability to navigate multiple stakeholders to ensure business appropriate outcomes
• Ability to pick things up quickly
