We are currently seeking applications from Accountants seeking to develop their Financial and Project experience for a Mon-Friday position at our Belmont Head Office.

Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Live analysis of expenditure against budget and tender, identifying discrepancies and trends.
• Day to day assisting with the site finance function in relation to statutory reporting and audits.
• Meeting the operation’s end of month reporting timetable.
• Ensure intercompany accounts reconcile monthly.
• Assist with FBT return preparation and provide information to corporate tax team.
• Preparation of budgets, forecasts, financial and management reports.
• Preparation of variation analysis reports, balance sheet reconciliation and maintain capital expenditure reporting.
• Assist in preparing cash flow information.
• Assist with Credit Card reconciliation.
• Assist with monthly Cost Value Reconcilation meetings with Project Managers
• Assisting with estimating processes.
• Meeting monthly and ad hoc reporting requirements to stakeholders within all areas of the business and to the Board.
• Control of company systems and databases required for the production of performance reports.
• Active participation in strategic planning and preparation of business unit forecasts.
• Analysis and reporting of the company and project -specific performance, with the aim of implementing business improvement initiatives.

Experience required:

• Strong financial understanding
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Advanced computer skills.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting
• CA / CPA qualification in progress
