Action Accounting Hiring for CPA/EA Customer Support Job at Remote Full Time

Looking for charismatic person with an outgoing personality with 4-6 years of tax experience that enjoys interacting with clients. This is a remote opportunity so you can be located anywhere. Job responsibilities include:

Kickoff Call – This is a 30 minute new client meeting over the phone or on Zoom. Our clients are successful business owners seeking aggressive and creative strategies to reduce their tax liability. They typically have high expectations and prefer to deal with competent, confident tax professionals. The client will have already uploaded 2 years past tax returns for reference. The goal is to give the client several recommendations based on the review and answer any questions they may have. Additional responsibility will include documenting the call on a template form and turning it in to our administrative team. We have a blueprint of what these calls look like and several topics to cover on the call. Some clients will come with a full page of notes and questions to ask, others will need us to guide the conversation.

Tax Planning Call – These are year end calls with the client to discuss their performance for the year. Also, give them any options available prior to year end to reduce their tax liability. We have a guide to expedite this process, and a template to be filled out and sent to the client as follow up. Tax professional must be capable of preparing tax projections and providing valuable feedback to the client.

Tax Return Review – These will be done predominantly during tax season when the client asks to review their return(s) with a preparer. Clients will either have a few specific questions to ask, or just want a basic overview of the return.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
