Actalent Hiring for Logistics Coordinator at Westminster, CO, United States Full Time

Description :

On-time shipment and receiving of domestic and international shipments including small packages and large capital equipment and machinery.

Determines best method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates to ensure customer satisfaction efficiently.

Acts when discrepancies are found to resolve individual shipment problems, and properly communicates issues so structural corrective actions are implemented.

Verify the shipment packing list matches sales order information, verify the part numbers in the shipment match the packing list and verify that the part number belongs to the actual part.

Send out shipment notification (by e-mail) and tracking number(s), to customers and internal personnel (as appropriate).

Responds to customers with shipment issues and resolve the problems. Ensures material is properly identified, documented, packaged and protected for shipment.

Delivers received items to departments. Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
