Job Summary

Responsible for providing overall management and leadership of all Information Technology (IT) related matters. Develops and implements an IT strategy consistent with company needs.

Essential Job Functions

• Develops strategic and tactical solution plans for information systems applications and its company wide computing infrastructure assessment of technology through short and long term goal setting
• Assesses and optimizes the product portfolio including planning and management of computer operations and implementation support, systems and database administration, risk analyses, security, applications development, business continuity, network operations, telecom, cloud services, IT business operations, database management, user and system support and related operations
• Operates as a leader and champion to help establish and communicate a vision and plan for the use of Syspro
• Serves as an advocate of the practices in promoting the use of information technology
• Manages the evaluation emerging technologies including cloud, software defined networking, high performance computing, continuous delivery and the latest collaboration technologies
• Ensures cost-effective design, development, integration, implementation, testing, and maintenance of new services, equipment and systems in support of business objectives and requirements
• Negotiates and/or delegates the management of IT vendor licensing and managed service contracts,
• Completes IT Risk Assessment and works to develop a risk treatment plan including an integrated security architecture
• Manages enterprise requirement including anti-malware solution, patch management processes, etc
• Implements technical incident management and change management processes
• Seamlessly integrate software and hardware systems and solutions across a mixed environment as needed
• Closely monitor the performance of our hosted website, email and network systems
• Other Duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science is required
• A Master’s Degree in computer science, information systems, or related field is strongly preferred
• A minimum of 5 years relevant work experience is required
• At least five years of experience in a computer center and telecommunication operations with a good understanding of networking concepts, terms and systems

• Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills
• Ability to quickly process complex information and often make critical decisions with limited information
• Ability to independently be responsible for ongoing projects
• Ability to work with others in a team environment
• Experience with Database maintenance, backups, restores and recovery models
• Experience with diagnosing and troubleshooting database errors
• Experience in Cloud/SaaS environments and standard core technologies including o365, Windows OS, MS SQL, productivity suites etc
• Direct knowledge of server administration tools: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, networking, database systems, user permissions, file system administration,
