ACT Government Hiring for English and HaSS Teacher – Lanyon High Job at Canberra Full Time

Lanyon High School is located in Tuggeranong with a student population of just over 450 students. The school is committed to flexible learning and ensuring academic growth for all students in all subject areas. Staff are a committed professional learning team that is dedicated to school improvement and creating a positive school community. We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated educator, who has demonstrated skills and knowledge teaching English and Humanities and Social Sciences (HaSS), to a range of student abilities.

Eligibility/Other Requirements: Prior to commencing in this role a minimum of four years full time (or equivalent) tertiary study leading to the award of a recognised school teaching qualification; a current full teaching registration with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) (or eligibility for teacher registration with the ACT TQI). Prior to commencing in this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 may be required.
