ACP Connections is looking for a strong Degreed Sr. Accountant. This is a fulltime permanent opportunity with excellent health benefits, dental, vision, 401K match and profit sharing. Ideal candidate will have construction or manufacturing experience. You must be able to work onsite!

The Senior Accountant is responsible for recording and analyzing income and expenditures, preparing/posting journal entries, reconciling all balance sheet accounts, bank reconciliations, and analyzing company financial activities. In addition, the Senior Accountant will assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearend financial reports, the year end audit, annual corporate budget, annual inventory count, and other responsibilities as assigned.

The Senior Accountant works closely with the Accounting team and other Company staff to achieve the organization’s goals and execute business strategy. This position is a highly valued and key member of the Finance team. This position reports to the Corporate Controller in order to ensure the financial accuracy and integrity of the Company’s financial records.

Sr. Accountant Responsibilities:

· Administer and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

· Reconcile all bank accounts

· Prepare and record month end journal entries

· Reconcile Inventory

· Maintain Fixed Asset schedules

· Assist in reconciling all Intercompany transactions in a consolidation environment.

· Track revenues and expenses and record them accurately to the appropriate entity and cost center

· Interface with outside audit firms(s), banks and lessors, casualty/liability insurance agent(s), credit card companies, and collection agencies, as needed

· Support all aspects of the month-end and year-end close process

· Develop skills through cross training and supporting management positions

· Cultivate partnerships with key departments, technical resources, and people

· Maintain strict confidentiality of personnel, financial, proprietary information and Company operations

· Collaborate with other staff and corporate leadership to support and achieve projected sales growth initiatives and maximize overall profitable growth

· Participate in all department functions and support the executive management team as needed or required

· Support contract negotiations with independent contractors and third parties to ensure appropriate and accurate records are maintained as required by law.

Sr. Accountant Skills:

· Demonstrated computer proficiency working with advanced ERP systems required, experience with Microsoft Dynamics or SAP preferred, intermediate Excel, and Word.

Sr. Accountant Requirement:

Basic Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

· 3 years progressive experience in a manufacturing environment

· 2 years progressive experience in senior accounting role

· Demonstrated computer proficiency working with advanced ERP systems required, experience with Microsoft Dynamics or SAP preferred, intermediate Excel, and Word

· Successfully pass background check including drug screening

Sr. Accountant Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience working with multi-entity manufacturing organization

· Experience with consolidated financial statements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $83,000.00 per year
