ACP Connections is looking for a strong Corporate Controller. This is an amazing opportunity with a large and fast growing company. Must have minimum 3 years in controller role and 10 plus years of solid accounting experience.
Corporate Controller has ultimate responsibility for all accounting activities within the organization. This individual will manage and develop a team of 10 plus employees.
Corporate Controller develops and executes strategies and standards related to accounting policy, financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, budgeting, and financial systems and controls. Oversees monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes and coordinates the preparation of financial statements and filings in compliance with GAAP. Conducts ad hoc analyses of the organization’s finances and presents findings to executive leadership for decision making and planning. Develops internal controls and oversees audits of policies and procedures meant to preserve the organization’s assets. Typically has responsibility for AP/AR and payroll functions.
Corporate Controller Experience and Education:
Leads and directs the work of other employees. Supervision is often provided through a team of subordinate managers and directors. Responsible for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination. Responsible for aligning departmental strategy or direction with the overall goals of the organization. Develops policies, practices, and procedures that have a significant impact on the organization. Bachelor’s degree and 10 or more years of experience. CPA preferred.
