Structural Engineer

We are recruiting on behalf of a civil and structural engineering consultancy client who is looking to appoint a Structural Engineer. They provide high quality, innovative and thoughtful engineering solutions to a wide range of clients across the UK.

The successful candidate will join their brand-new regional office in North Wales, with the potential of becoming a key member of the company by helping grow the business. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious and eager individual (desirably Chartered or working towards a Chartership) with a Civil / Structural Engineering background (desired degree in Engineering but not essential).

Regular site visits will be expected with the ability to write technical reports. Support will be given in achieving ICE / IStruct E membership.

Skills and Experience

* Minimum of one years’ experience in a UK based consultancy
* Up to date knowledge of residential and commercial structure design to current British Standards
* Design of steel, timber, concrete and masonry structures
* AutoCAD and Tekla TEDDS essential
* Excellent communication skills

In return, they offer the following

* A competitive salary starting within the range of £27,000 to £45,000 with annual pay reviews
* Holidays – 25 days, plus Bank Holidays
