We are looking for a talented Rostering Officer to join the team at and support us to deliver the best care across sites.
Job Purpose
You will be responsible for the deployment and optimization of the labour workforce multiple sites. Providing a cost-effective and efficient rostering practice across the organisation, you will ensure adequate up-to-date data is maintained across systems to enhance service delivery and ensure optimal outcomes for our clients.
Reporting to the Nurse System Support Coordinator, you will develop and maintain complex 24-hour rosters in the rostering system and provide end user training and support, working with the frontline team to promote workforce efficiency across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage Master Rosters and Co-ordinating day-to-day rostering requirements across sites;
• Direct and allocate resources as directed by the operation managers, ensuring business processes have been followed and exceptions managed;
• Escalate any shifts that are unable to be filled and/or service issues within appropriate time frames and procedures; and
• Update and maintain VisiCase as to accurately reflect future, current and past workforce allocation and output.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Rostering / scheduling / workforce planning experience;
• Knowledge of rostering systems, HR practices and award principles;
• Knowledge and application of Workforce Management Software systems, reporting capabilities, management of queues and activity routing/overflow, etc;
• Ability to build and maintain trust and confidence of stakeholders through building rapport, consistent performance and delivering on services;
• Demonstrated customer focused communication skills incorporating the abilities of courtesy, diplomacy and confidentiality;
• Organisational and time management skills including the ability to prioritise a demanding workload; and
• Advanced computer literacy e.g. MS Office and Excel.
