Responsibilities :

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES : We are seeking a motivated and diversified software engineer that will be part of a small team developing and supporting real mission needs.

The candidate will provide full stack development on application designed to process, store and display information to users in customized views.

They will also work with customers and team members to develop technical solutions that meet mission requirements and objectives.

Qualifications :

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION : The candidate must have :

At least 8 years of general experience in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline.

At least 5 years of experience in software-intensive projects and programs for government or industry customers.

Additionally, at least 3 years of experience must have been as a software engineer supporting software architecture development, requirement analysis, process execution and evaluation, selection and evaluation of COTS / GOTS tools, and integration (with both new and existing systems).

A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or a related discipline may be substituted for 4 years of general experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Must have experience designing, developing, and implementing full stack development

Must have experience with Java, Kotlin, or Scala (Kotlin is used for backend)

Experience with JavaScript or Typescript

Familiarity with modern web UI frameworks such as Angular, Vue, React or Ember

API development experience

Familiarity with streaming / event-based architecture (Apache Storm, Apache Flink) is preferred

Familiarity with NiFi

Experience with ElasticSearch and MongoDB is preferred

Container deployment experience (Docker) is preferred?”
