Aceo Limited Hiring for HR Manager at Livingston Full Time

Due to company growth, Aceo are looking for a HR Manager to join the company to advise and support the management team and employees on all areas of HR best practise and legislation. To work along-side the SMT to ensure employee engagement through the delivering of reward & recognition, advising on day-to-day employee related matters as well as administer our HR data and payroll. 

Key responsibilities:

• Acting as a first point of contact for all enquiries to the department

• Advertising, shortlisting candidates and interviewing for any new job roles

• Time specific preparation of offer letters, contracts of employment and associated paperwork on the receipt of an offer form, ensuring that the recruitment procedures are adhered too.

• Manage and own the entire starters, transfers, and leavers processes, ensuring that correct processes are adhered to, and documentation is complete, up to date, and accurate. 

• Manage and own the timely maintenance of the HR database and employee files, ensuring that all records are kept up to date and are accurate at all times. This includes maintaining and updating all systems and spreadsheets. 

• Applying HR and business knowledge to give sound advice and make informed decisions on matters relating to HR. 

• Advising managers on Employee Relations matters, sharing best practice and coaching managers to deal with issues. 

• Develop and update HR policies and procedures. 

• Providing first line advice on current and existing benefits for employees and managers. 

• Advising on recruitment and selection strategies. 

• Supporting the recruitment process – including writing job descriptions and preparing interview questions and application forms etc. 

• Coordinating the appointment process for successful applicants. 

• Administering payroll and payroll records and keep accounts appraised of any changes. 

• Updating and maintaining HR Information System data. 

• Continuously monitor, review, and advise on HR policies, processes and legislation, implementing changes where necessary. 

• Participating in the implementation of specific projects, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the organisation.

• A proficiency in the Microsoft Office Package 

• Excellent organisational/administrative skills with very good attention to detail 

Essential:  

• 3+ years of HR management 

• Degree level education or equivalent such as CIPD certification

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
