Job Title: Lab Business Analyst (LabVantage)

Duration: Initial 6 Month Contract, scope for extension

Contract: C2C

Location: Remote- Required on site in Boston, MA 1 day per month

ACE Partners are currently partnered with a leading consultancy operating within the Life Sciences industry who are seeking a Lab Business Analyst on an initial 6-month contract period for one of their pharmaceutical clients in Boston, MA

Responsibilities

• Be the subject matter expert in LabVantage LIMS Lab Execution System (LES) and ELN in a Quality Control setting along with consumables, instrument management.
• Experience with instrument integration a bonus.
• Initial focus of engagement will be to help build their clients LES template strategy by leveraging your prior experience of what worked or did not work while taking into consideration specific requirements and constraints.
• Ultimate goal of initial strategy development phase it to define a set of LES and ELN templates to cover identified small molecule plus Cell and Genetic Therapies test methods.
• Prior experience contributing to GxP validation strategy for LES.
• Must have very strong business analyst skillset to help facilitate on-site (Boston) sprints to walk through processes with business users, identify gaps between business requirements and propose LES or other technical solutions to close gaps without customization.
• Elicit all requirements focusing on maximizing use of standard, out-of-the-box LV functionality and steering clear of custom solutions.

Daily Activities:

• Work with DTE and business team members to define a strategy that leverages best practices to guide how to implement LES / ELN.
• Work with business analysts to lead business users through onsite walk throughs of business processes in order to develop full understanding of business processes, test methods etc.
• Use prior experience implementing LES / ELN in LabVantage LIMS to drive-out requirements, ensure no requirement gaps and drive solutions toward OOTB functionality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required
• 5+ years of business analysis experience in the pharmaceutical industry required
• Ability to break down and document complex processes
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Visio

Preferred:

• Experience in LIMS in QC labs, GxP regulated environment

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $50.00 – $60.00 per hour

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
