Acden Lemax is seeking a Labourer to join its team in Fort McMurray, Alberta at our Millwrighting, Machining, and Welding Town Shop in the Leo Roberts Industrial Park.

This is a local position to Fort McMurray. Candidates must have their own transportation and accommodations within the region. No travel or lodging will be provided.

What are the main duties?

• Complete general shop/front office/yard cleaning and labourer duties as assigned daily.
• Inspect equipment and maintain accurate and clear records.
• Operate a variety of equipment i.e. Forklift/Pressure Washer/Overhead Crane etc.
• Working indoor and outdoor in various weather conditions.
• Maintain and upkeep general grounds i.e. Mowing/Shoveling etc.
• Complete deliveries and pick-ups as assigned.
• Perform other duties and assistance as required by Supervisor.
• Working in small spaces or significant heights on scaffolds or platforms.

What does Acden need from me?

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence.
• Valid Common Safety Orientation (CSO); or OSSA BSO Certificate.
• 1-3 years of experience operating a variety of equipment i.e. forklift etc.
• Ability to work well with in a team.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Physically fit to perform extensive labourer duties like walking, carrying heavy materials, climbing and being in awkward positions.
• Must have own accommodations and transportation within the region.
