At accuRx, we’re building the first patient-centred communication platform. Our products help doctors, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, carers and anyone else involved in a patient’s care to communicate easily with patients and with each other. We believe this will transform how healthcare is delivered, improving patient outcomes, improving staff morale and increasing the efficiency of health systems.
Our products have 98% adoption in GP practices and we are investing into other areas of healthcare (hospitals, pharmacies, care homes). By making messaging easier, we’re making more of medicine asynchronous, from simple consultations to getting advice from hospital specialists, saving time and making it easier for staff to communicate.

Life as a Finance Analyst at accuRx
Every day at accuRx as a Finance Analyst you will be part of the team enabling accuRx to deliver as much to the health system as possible. You’ll be the 3rd finance hire at accuRx, working closely with the Finance Manager and Finance Lead. As the team and business continue to scale at speed, you can expect to get involved in many interesting projects outside of your core responsibilities.
Core responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• You will assist in the invoicing a complex network of NHS organisations with a view to eventually own the entire billing process yourself;
• You will lead on credit control by notifying debtors of outstanding invoices by email, replying promptly to customer questions about invoices, and raising any concerns about collectability with the wider team;
• You will contribute to our month-end financial close process, including bank reconciliations, adjustments and journal entries;
• You will work with the finance team to help improve financial processes that support the business growth as we continue to scale; and
• You will support the Finance Manager and Finance Lead on internal and external ad-hoc finance related queries.

• You are a part-qualified or recently qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, AAT) with industry experience (experience in a start up is desirable but not essential). We are also open to applicants without an accounting qualification if your experience demonstrates appropriate knowledge to fulfil the role.
• You’re familiar with excel and enjoy working within a spreadsheet.
• You are organised and able to balance multiple projects at once.
• You’re willing to get stuck in and do what it takes to make things happen.
• You are analytical and able to see the big picture.

Salary & Benefits package:
Our package includes:

• £30,000 – £40,000 salary + meaningful share options;
