Medical Claims Auditor

PURPOSE:

To develop and maintain a set of application services primarily written in Java that exchange data and information with internal services ,external vendors, and external clients. This position will assist with MariaDB database integration required for the development of these EDI processes and related development of web applications or services required for the EDI processes to function properly.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Map billing, claim, clinical, and other data sets to and from a relational database including automating the creation and consumption of csv, fixed width, X12, and other files.
• Develop updates to billing automation processes requiring strict security standards and high levels of performance

for a high number of transactions

• Assist in researching and resolving internal and external application problems or business workflow problems

technically related to the application.

• Performing code reviews of changes proposed by other developers at the company.
• Develop automated tests and perform manual QA of files and data to confirm processes are operating as expected
• Create appropriate levels of observability and monitoring for business critical processes
• Develop and design workflows that will meet or exceed client or vendor expectations
• Perform other duties and assignments as directed by the executive team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in CS, MIS, CE, or similar field of study.

• Must have a successful track record completing projects.
• The ability to provide direction in areas of application development.
• Java, JPA, MariaDB, Spring Boot, GIT, REST, Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), Linux, RabbitMQ

• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent listening, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• High attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
