Accublends LLC Hiring for Chemical Engineer Full Time

Accublends LLC, a full-service toll blender and contract manufacturer of high-performance aqueous solutions. Currently we are looking for a creative, cooperative chemical engineer and facilities manager with a wealth of technical and industry knowledge and a talent for process optimization. The chemical engineer will work to implement, analyze, and improve processes, equipment, and plant. You will also work with other team members from diverse backgrounds to understand project goals, design and propose solutions, and assist in implementing, troubleshooting, and reviewing plans as projects progress.

To be a successful chemical engineer, you should be knowledgeable, communicative, observant, organized, and committed to reaching project goals. You should also possess strong interpersonal, time management, and presentation skills.

Chemical Engineer Job Responsibilities:

• Perform chemical analysis and physical property testing of materials and products.
• Research, design, and develop new production processes.
• Coordinate and perform tests.
• Analyze data to develop conclusions.
• Communicate results of analysis and research.
• Evaluate current processes and develop improvements to safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Create standards and specifications for processes, facilities, products and tests.
• Assist in the establishment of timelines and budgets.
• Install, maintain, and inspect equipment and facilities.
• Perform routine calibration and troubleshooting of instruments.
• Provide training and mentorship to technical staff.

Chemical Engineer Qualifications/Skills:

• Applied knowledge of analytical chemistry techniques
• Demonstrated ability to solve highly technical problems.
• Strong technical writing ability
• Direct experience with the use of spreadsheet and database software to compile, analyze, and present data.
• Familiarity with process improvement methodologies.
• Ability to execute tasks with minimal oversight.
• Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills
• Establishing safety and waste management procedures.

Chemical Engineer Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or a related field
• Master’s degree in chemical engineering or a related field a plus. Three to five years’ experience in a production environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Project management experience a plus
• Ability to cooperate and communicate with others, especially those without a technical background.

Work Hours and Benefits

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $87,500.00 – $100,000.00 per year
