We’re exclusively partnering a global cleantech/infrastructure company to hire a Senior Accounts Receivable Manager to lead their accounts receivable and collections operations across the U.S. and Canada. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Finance, this role is a key financial and operational leader responsible for driving cash performance, strengthening customer communication, and supporting a best‑in‑class client experience.

This is a high‑visibility position that partners closely with the CEO, CFO, VP of Client Experience, and senior leadership to reinforce financial discipline, operational accountability, and customer satisfaction in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.

What You’ll Lead

• Full ownership of AR & collections across the Americas, including invoicing follow‑up, dispute resolution, payment negotiations, escalations, and aging oversight.
• Development and execution of collection strategies to improve cash flow, reduce DSO, and strengthen working capital.
• Customer account reviews, issue resolution, and proactive management of billing, contractual, and payment challenges.
• Cross‑functional coordination with Finance, Sales, Legal, Operations, and Client Experience to streamline onboarding, invoicing, and account management.
• Professional, consistent customer communication that supports long‑term relationship health.

Client Experience & Cross‑Functional Impact

• Support a seamless client experience by ensuring financial interactions are proactive, solutions‑oriented, and customer‑centric.
• Serve as the operational bridge between Finance and Client Experience to improve communication workflows and issue resolution.
• Provide leadership visibility into major account risks, disputes, and payment trends.
• Partner with senior leaders on strategic customer relationships and commercial discussions.

Operational Excellence, Automation & AI

• Drive process improvements focused on automation, scalability, and operational efficiency.
• Support implementation and optimization of ERP systems, collections tools, workflow automation, and AI‑driven analytics.
• Leverage AI to enhance forecasting, prioritization, customer communication, and reporting accuracy.
• Identify opportunities to streamline manual processes and improve transparency.

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead and develop a high‑performing AR and collections team across domestic and offshore locations.
• Manage distributed teams across multiple time zones.
• Establish KPIs, performance expectations, and accountability frameworks.
• Foster a culture of ownership, urgency, collaboration, and customer focus.

What You Bring

• 15+ years of progressive experience in accounts receivable, collections, finance operations, or customer financial operations.
• 7+ years of people leadership managing teams of 5+ employees.
• Deep experience managing large, complex receivables portfolios in multi‑entity, high‑volume, multi‑regional environments.
• Strong operational mindset with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams and senior leadership.
